Friday Nov 14, 2025

Michael Reagan & Nate Lane are sliding back into the gooey greatness of the golden age of Nickelodeon! In this first half of our two-part slime-soaked celebration, we revisit the shows, stars, and studio magic that made 90s Nick the messiest, wildest, and most unforgettable place on TV. Consider this your warning: once the green slime starts flowing, it’s hard to wipe away—so strap in for Part 1 of Slime Time!

Monday Nov 10, 2025

This week on The 90s Rewind Report, Nate and Michael are taking a trip back to the days when slime flowed freely, big orange splat logos were everywhere, and dream vacations always included Florida. In this special Nickelodeon November minisode, we rewind to Nickelodeon Studios Orlando — the beating heart of 90s kids’ TV magic.
We dig into the studio’s origins at Universal Studios Florida, the vision behind making Nickelodeon a place where kids could literally walk into the world of their favorite shows, and the iconic series filmed there — from Clarissa Explains It All to Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Nick Arcade, Roundhouse, All That, and more. We also talk about the behind-the-scenes tours, the slime geyser, and that unforgettable blue-and-green paint job that made the building feel like a cartoon come to life.
Plus, Nate shares his own personal nostalgia story of visiting the studios in the mid-90s — complete with crowd warm-ups, slime demonstrations, and a moment that felt like stepping directly into the TV.Nate and Michael are also still buzzing from last weeks celebrity guest; David Sidoni!
Short, sweet, slimy, and packed with memories — it's a love letter to the epicenter of 90s Nickelodeon culture.

This week on The 90s Rewind Report, we’re joined by a true 90s legend — David Sidoni! You may remember him dancing across the screen in Disney’s Newsies, cracking up audiences on Nickelodeon’s Roundhouse during the original SNICK era, or even popping up as a background dancer in Michael Jackson’s iconic “Black or White” music video.
Since his days in the spotlight, David has stepped into what he calls the third act of his life — becoming a successful realtor and the host of the hit podcast How To Buy A Home, where he helps first-time homebuyers navigate the real estate world with honesty, clarity, and real-life experience.
But today, David is stepping into the time machine with hosts Michael Reagan & Nate Lane to revisit the golden age of Nickelodeon and 90s pop culture. We talk Roundhouse, Newsies, working with the King of Pop, behind-the-scenes stories, and the legacy of the era that shaped a generation.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN NOSTALGIANS! Join Nate Lane and Michael Reagan as they dive into the spooky origins of The Simpsons’ annual Halloween tradition in this special episode of The 90s Rewind Report. We’re revisiting Season 2, Episode 3 (“Treehouse of Horror”)—the very first “Treehouse” special—where Bart and Lisa tell ghost stories in their treehouse, and the viewer is treated to three wildly different horror-parody segments:
“Bad Dream House” – The Simpsons purchase a bargain haunted house and quickly discover that the house is less thrilled to have them than they are to have it.
“Hungry Are the Damned” – When Kang, Kodos & co. abduct the Simpsons for what appears to be a feast… turns out the mischief might lie closer to home than the stars.
“The Raven” – A near-verbatim adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic poem, starring Homer as the tortured narrator and Bart as the raven perched on the bust of Pallas.
Nate and Michael break down each segment with plot summary, discuss how the tone and format set the template for years of future episodes, compare the scares and laughs, and throw in some fun ’90s context about animation and pop-culture. Whether you remember watching this one as a kid or are hearing it for the first time, it’s a ghoulish gem worth revisiting.

In this 90s Rewind Minisode, Nate takes the reins to slice into the origins of Scream (1996) — the film that single-handedly revived a dying genre. Before Ghostface ever asked, “What’s your favorite scary movie?”, there were decades of horror classics paving the way. Nate looks back at the slasher boom of the late ’70s and early ’80s, how the genre lost its edge by the decade’s end, and the spark that Scream brought back to horror. He also explores how the movie came to life — from the early drafts to the big names almost attached to the project — and what made Wes Craven’s final version such a game-changer.

In this episode of the 90s Rewind Report Michael & Nate spend the night with Eric Forman & Company. The two rewatch That ’70s Show Season 2, Episode 5, “Halloween,” which originally aired October 26, 1999. The gang decides to spend the spooky night exploring their old burned-down grammar school. Fez shows up dressed as Batman, and before their creepy adventure, we see a quick montage of the crew taking him trick-or-treating and catching a showing of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Once inside the abandoned school, they stumble upon their old permanent records—and that’s when things get messy. One by one, they read each other’s files, uncovering embarrassing secrets that lead to hurt feelings, arguments, and plenty of classic That ’70s Show comedy chaos.

On this episode of The 90s Rewind Report, Michael Reagan and Nate Lane take a stab at unraveling one of horror’s most confusing—but fascinating—franchises: Halloween. From the 1978 original that redefined slasher cinema to the endless reboots, sequels, and multiverse timelines that followed, the guys break down how Halloween splintered into multiple realities.
They explore the three (or four, depending who you ask) major timelines, the Rob Zombie reimagining that divided fans, and Halloween III: Season of the Witch—the bizarre standalone entry that ditched Michael Myers altogether in favor of killer masks and cult conspiracies. We’re sorting out Halloween’s tangled timelines once and for all.
So whether you’re a casual fan trying to make sense of it all or a horror buff who’s seen every timeline reset, this episode carves through the chaos with humor, nostalgia, and plenty of pumpkin spice. 🎃
